Channeling Oddities

I've mentioned negative entities in my psychic investigations, but thought I'd mention some of the other interesting oddities I've encountered since I started channeling--namely that involving Captain Smith.

Sometimes channeling makes its way into my dreams as if the ability turns on while I'm asleep, and I'm contacted by spirits that way--spirits whom I haven't called, but who are calling me.

I had a very odd experience following my Queen Mary investigations.  I found myself aboard the Lusitania.  It was at sea, and I was all alone.  I searched all over for someone, another passenger, another crew member--anyone.  But found no one.  This went on for what seemed like forever.  I grew more alarmed, wondering where the ship was taking me and why there was no one else on board. Then, when I was on the bridge, someone finally made an appearance.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  Captain Smith of the Titanic stood before me.  What in the world was he doing aboard the Lusitania and why was he in this psychic connection? I didn't know, but at any rate, the connection broke, and I woke up.

When a connection happens like this during my sleep, I always wake up prematurely, and I'm always hungry.  When I first started channeling, this strange hunger resulted in weight gain.

At for the noble captain--that wasn't the last time I'd see him.  For a while after that, he kept popping up in my dreams no matter where I was or what I was doing, I'd encounter him. And oddly, he never said a thing.   I became convinced that he was trying to contact me, that  he definitely had something to tell me but was unable to do so when I was in dream mode.  I've not yet tried to make that mental connection with him, but I intend to and will update this page with new information when I do.

I had another spirit contact me as well, only this time, I wasn't fully asleep, only relaxing on the couch.  I don't know this person's identity.  I only know that  out of the blue,  I heard an old phone ring--and only in my left ear.  It was very loud and after the connection was broken, my ear bothered me for several minutes.   Other than the ring, however, the connection hadn't been a strong one, and the only thing I heard was a man's voice as if coming from a distance, saying  "investigate" and "Hindenburg."  I didn't have to hear all of the words to know what I was being asked.  I'd received a phone call from the beyond, someone asking me to do a psychic investigation of the Hindenburg.

I said something to the nature of: "Yes,  I will.   Goodbye."  And the connection broke.  Afterward, however, I sighed, I really didn't want to investigate the Hindenburg.  It didn't interest me, and I found the Nazi German component disturbing; nevertheless, I reminded myself that a lot of innocent people had died upon the ship, and I decided that if someone had gone to all the trouble to connect to me from the beyond, then I should look into it.  I sighed again, turned over, and had a nap. I would try at a later date, when I felt more receptive to the whole idea.

I'd always heard that if you go looking for a ghost that they come looking for you.  I guess that old saying is true.

Conclusion: Yes, channeling is exciting, but at times it's scary, and at others, it's just plain and simply odd!
