Morgan Nick Missing Child

Dear Ms. St. Claire:
On July 9th, 1995, Colleen Nick took her six-year-old daughter Morgan to a little league baseball game in Alma, Arkansas. Throughout the evening, two young girls wanted Morgan to play with them near the baseball field. Colleen gave Morgan the okay, and she hurried off to play with the girls. But when the game ended, the two girls returned without Morgan.

Colleen waited but her daughter never returned and after most of the people had left the field, it was very clear that something was amiss. Panic overwhelmed Colleen, and she sought help from the one of the coaches.  He questioned the two girls, and they said that a man in a red pickup had been talking to Morgan. The girls described him as "creepy."

Do you have any idea whether this girl is still alive, and what happened to her?

Sincerely,
C.

Dear C.
I've not done a full investigation into this case; however, I do see a few things.  This man went to the game specifically on the hunt for a child victim.  He abducted Morgan, sexually molested her and killed her the same night he abducted her.  He dumped her body in the woods off a country road.  He is a loner and an unachiever in his 30s.  He spends a lot of time in a dingy room but he sometimes travels to find other victims.  He either lives with his mother or is close to her.  He has sexually assaulted and probably killed others.  He very likely has a criminal record that includes violence and sexual assault. I sense that he has served time for it in the past.  Why these types are ever let back out on the streets, I'll never understand.

Sincerely,
Ms. St. Claire

The Belle Witch Mystery

Marie,

I'm curious, what are your thoughts on the Belle Witch case? Was the Belle Witch a demon, a ghost or something else?  Have you ever tried to psychically connect to her or it?

H.

Dear H.

I've never attempted to connect psychically to the entity known as the Bell Witch, and I will never try to. It sounds like far too dangerous of a spirit.  I've read some material on the Bell Witch, including the article on this site, and I believe that she is not a mere spirit of a deceased human but a very powerful spirit--perhaps even what some would call a demon.  She herself suggested this when she said: "I am a spirit from everywhere, Heaven, Hell, and the Earth; I am in the air, in houses, any place at any time. I've been created millions of years.  That is all I will tell you."

I read in a ghost hunter's book recently that there was a big celebration on the Bell Farm and a ouija board was used to try and connect to any spirits that might be there. In addition, a Voodoo Queen supposedly conducted a séance.  These attempts to connect to spirits on this property were stupid and dangerous!  This could have opened the door to an evil entity whose power could have significantly grown over the years.  Who knows what it would have done. Believe me, this is one spirit that you don't want to awaken--talk about a bitch on wheels!

Why it seemed to have a vendetta against the Belle family is a mystery.  Perhaps it lived in the cave, which they stored their food in and it felt like they were intruding in its space.  Perhaps the witch knew something about the family that no one else does.  Or maybe old Kate Bates whose land was supposedly stolen by the Bell family somehow summoned the entity in a desire for revenge.  We'll probably never know.

Sincerely,
Marie

Natasha Jennings Mysterious Death

Dear Marie St. Claire:

Natasha Jennings (from  Southern California) was visiting her aunt and father in Carson City, Nevada when she died under mysterious circumstances. On the afternoon of July 8, 1997, she had lunch with her aunt and was supposed to meet her father afterward. When she didn't show up, her father contacted the aunt who found Natasha dead in the bedroom. There were no outward signs of trauma, but investigators turned their attention to a young man whom Natasha had become close to.  Suspicions were raised that this man had sexually assaulted Natasha just days before at a party. But the autopsy report concluded that she had not  been sexually assaulted.

When Natasha's mother arrived in Carson City to look for answers, she met a woman who claimed that Natasha's father, Clarence, was a drug informant for local law enforcement. She said drug dealers killed Natasha in retaliation. But according to the Nevada Division of Investigations, Clarence Jennings was never a documented informant. Clarence was totally dumbfounded by the accusation. Investigators also speculated that Natasha had brought about her own death by overdosing on drugs, because a scrap of plastic recovered just outside Natasha's bedroom contained traces of methamphetamine. An examination of Natasha's body revealed a minute amount of the drugs in her nostrils, however, Natasha's mother claims that her daughter never used drugs. Today, the investigation has hit a dead end. Any insight into her death?

Sincerely A.

Dear A.
Despite the official medical report you mentioned, I see sexual molestation in Natasha's history from someone close--molestation can take many forms.  There didn't have to be actual penetration.  However, that had nothing to do with Natasha's death.  She indeed died from an accidental drug overdose of methamphetamines.  Unfortunately parents are often the last ones to know if their child is involved in drugs, and in this case, I believe that Natasha had only just started experimenting with drugs.  She was introduced to methamphetamines at the party.

Sincerely,
Ms. St. Claire

The Black Dahlia Reincarnation?

Dear Marie,
My sister thinks that she's the reincarnation of the The Black Dahlia.

Do you think this is true?

Sincerely,
A.

Dear A.

I know it's not true. I've visited the Black Dahlia.  She has not been reincarnated.  See my article.  Your sister merely has a fascination with the Black Dahlia, which isn't surprising as a lot of people are drawn to Elizabeth due to her glamour and the great mystery which has surrounded her death.

Sincerely,
Marie

Bill Rundle and Traci Kenley Missing

Dear Ms. St. Claire:

On August 17, 2000, Bill Rundle and his close friend Traci Kenley set out to drive 45 miles out to Traci's parents' farm in rural Edgar, Nebraska. The pair had  plans to meet Traci's boyfriend later that evening. Bill and Traci got together at around 4:30 p.m. to retrieve a second set of keys she needed, and Bill wanted to look at a car Traci's father was thinking about selling. Around 10:30 p.m., Bill and Traci said good-bye to Traci's parents, got into Bill's  new, black, Jeep Wrangler Sahara and headed for the highway.

Around 10:45 p.m., they stopped at The Country Store in neighboring Clay Center to use the restroom and buy some sodas. The clerk  and a few high school kids were the last people known to have seen them.

At around 11:00p.m., Traci called her boyfriend, Doug Wolfe, who worked the 2:00 p.m. to midnight shift in Hastings. According to Doug, Traci asked him what his plans for the evening were, and Doug told her that he was thinking about getting a beer at the Halftime Lounge. Traci said that she and Bill would meet him there around 12:30 a.m., if they weren't too tired. They said goodbye, and Doug waited for them,  but Traci and Bill never showed up.

The following day, neither Bill nor Traci showed up for work.  The Clay and Adams County Sheriff's Departments organized a search of the intersection where Traci had spoken to Doug and of the surrounding area. Authorities worried that Bill may have crashed his car into the cornfields. A thirty square mile area was painstakingly searched to no avail.

The two had only the cash in their pockets and the clothes on their backs. There has been no ATM, phone, or credit card activity on either Traci's or Bill's accounts since their disappearance. One week after their disappearance, Bill's hat mysteriously surfaced at the intersection where Traci made her last call to Doug--an area that had already been thoroughly searched. Police believe that the hat was planted by their abductors.

I think the two were murdered. What do you think?

Sincerely,
H.

Dear H:
Bill lost control of the vehicle.  They went off the road into water.  I'm sorry to say that they are dead.

Sincerely,
Marie St. Claire

Mysterious Visit

Dear Marie,

In 1983, my best friend was killed in a car accident at around 3 AM.
I've always felt guilty, because I later found out that she had come to my apartment shortly before the accident on the night she was killed.  I never knew why she came to my apartment so late.  I was asleep.  For some odd reason, though I could hear someone pounding urgently at the door, I just couldn't bring myself to get up and answer it.   Perhaps, had I woken up, she wouldn't have been killed.

B.

Dear B:
I'm sorry about your loss.  Know that it's not your fault, and the fact
that you couldn't get up to answer the door was an angel intervention.  Your friend wanted you to go out with her.  Had you opened that door and let her in, she would have persuaded you to go with her, and you would have been killed too.  That was not your destiny.  You still have a purpose on earth--so a heavenly spirit stepped in on your behalf.  Please don't feel guilty about your friend's death.

Sincerely,
Marie St. Claire

Sylvia Brown and the Aruba Case

Dear Marie,
How do you explain the fact that Sylvia Brown would not look into the Aruba case?

Sincerely,
J

 Dear J:
She would have to answer that question herself.  I honestly don't know much about Sylvia Brown.  I don't follow other psychics.  I will say that there are different types of psychic abilities.  She may not specialize in communication with the dead.  Her ability could be more precognitive--meaning seeing or sensing something before it happens.  But again, only she can answer such questions.

Sincerely,
Marie
